
Meet Dr. Anthony Nuñez
DDSHe earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of Staten Island before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry. During his time at NYU, Dr. Nuñez was honored with the Dean’s Scholarship Award and the Student Humanitarian Award – International College of Dentists.
Beyond his studies, Dr. Nuñez has always been dedicated to mentorship and service. He continues to serve as a mentor for the Bringing Smiles Dental Enrichment Program (BSDEP), a pipeline program that guides underrepresented pre-dental students through the dental school application process. He also served as a Core Leader for Saturday Academy, a program designed to introduce underrepresented minority and low-income high school students to the dental profession while assisting them with their college applications.
Following dental school, Dr. Nuñez advanced his training by completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone Health – Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers, FL.

Dr. Nuñez is deeply committed to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education courses, which he applies directly to patient care. His practice philosophy centers on patient comfort, education, and preventive oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nuñez enjoys traveling, working out at the gym, relaxing on the beach, strolling through downtown Tampa, and discovering new restaurants.
